Chest pain from scoliosis

Hello all. I was diagnosed @ age 13, in 1962 - received spinal fusion on 13 vertebrae in 1967. It took so long to recover, and to finally get back into my favorite past time, and that's running. I have proved that it can be done, but at a very slow pace. My degree of curvature was at 120 degrees, but the surgery corrected it to a mere 87 degrees. It's really a drag now, cause I'm experiencing chest pain due to the curvature. I was given the green lite from the cardiologist - but, the pain will have to be discussed with my doc to see if I can go on running. I do mostly half marathons, a few marathons, a lot of 10Ks, 5 Ks - and I really don't want to give up this passion - so good to be here with all you mates!
