Hello, Thank you for your thoughtful responses. Since my last post, a few changes have occured. First, the doctors at Shriners told us that his missing limb did not, in fact, cause his scoliosis. He said that many of his patients with one or no limbs never develope a curve. Oh well. Second, he has been wearing his brace. He is in his third week and is up to approx. 17+ hours per day. My son has a 49T/60L. He is 2.5 yrs old. He was born missing his right arm, thumb on remaining left hand, and elbow fused at approx. 45degrees. We believe a blood issue (MTHFR) on my wife's side is the cause of the upper-limb abnormalities. This assymetry has caused scoliosis. He is being seen at Shriners Childrens hospital,L.A.
